dale robertson
co-founder + CEO
Being active and involved in sports and athletics has always been part of who Dale is. But it was during Dale’s time working in the health care system when he began to really understand the reciprocal relationship between physical health and mental health. Dale’s inspiration for pH was driven by this connection, and by the awareness that we all have unique needs for managing our homeostasis; our surroundings, environment, and the feel of our gear impacts our thoughts and performance.
When a running buddy was struck by a car during a workout at low-light hours, Dale’s passion was ignited to not only create a product that would support comfort and performance, but would increase safety. Dale’s mission is to make it as easy as possible for everyone to get outside and get moving.

Samantha burdett
Design + Technology
Samantha’s studies in Fashion and Textile Design helped cultivate in her a love for the aesthetic and science behind knit products. After graduating with a BS in Fashion and Textile Design, Samantha moved from North Carolina to New York City where she began working full time in knitwear design and technology.
Samantha joined pH in 2017 when a mentor introduced her to Amanda, who had then been seeking out a design professional to collaborate with on a performance knit apparel. Helping others and creating knit products in a sustainable manner was always a goal of Samantha’s, and upon discussing the vision for Personal Habitat, she knew this would be the perfect fit.
